The Caucasus Mountains

In the village of Kosolar in southern Georgia, women take great pride in keeping the tradition of carpet weaving alive. They are the latest link in a chain promoting Caucasian crafts stretching back to the 19th century. For nomadic Persians, rug making and handmade handicrafts are done according to an ancient method with exclusive tools of weaving and beautiful patterns that are inspired from the nature, fauna and flora.
